Quality Policy

Our mission is to differentiate Jetoniz International (JET) from our competitors by making Quality a priority in all aspects of our activities so as to deliver satisfaction to our internal and external stakeholders

JET is a 100% Nigerian Company that is leading in offshore supply vessel to oil and gas companies in West Africa.

Our policy is to ensure we understand our clients’ needs, deliver products and services that satisfy or exceed their expectations by meeting specified Quality requirements within the constraints of our contracts and in accordance with applicable client specifications, codes and standards, statutory and regulatory requirements.

To ensure that the above is accomplished, JET Management has put in place Quality Management System processes which are developed and implemented to comply with the requirements of the International Organization for Standardization throughout the business Units
JET Management has therefore put in place Quality Objectives which it expects all personnel within the organization to achieve.

These objectives are:

  • Personnel should provide confidence to JET Management that intended Quality requirements of products and services rendered to clients IS at all times achieved and continually improved upon.
  • Personnel should provide confidence to clients that all their requirements as regards products and services delivered to them have been achieved.

JET is committed to continually improving the effectiveness of our Safety Management System through the proactive identification and implementation of improvement opportunities. JET Quality process is pivotal to effective business operations and meeting customer expectations.

Health & Safety Policy

The Management of Jetoniz International (JET) is committed to a safe and healthy working environment for everyone using JET’s facilities as a place of work or visiting on business. JET is also committed to a goal of zero incidents at all its worksites. JET Management will:

  • Set health and safety objectives and performance criteria for all managers and work areas;
  • Annually review health and safety objectives and managers’ performance;
  • Encourage accurate and timely reporting and recording of all incidents and injuries;
  • Investigate all reported incidents and injuries to identify all contributing factors and, where appropriate, formulate plans for corrective action;
  • Actively encourage the early reporting of any pain or discomfort;
  • Provide treatment and rehabilitation plans that ensure a safe, early and durable return to work;
  • Identify all existing and new hazards and manage safety risks by taking all practicable steps to eliminate, isolate or minimize the exposure to any significant hazards;
  • Ensure that all employees are made aware of the hazards in the work areas and are adequately trained so they can carry out their duties in a safer manner;
  • Encourage employee consultation and participation in all health and safety matters;
  • Ensure that all contractors and subcontractors are actively managing health and safety for themselves and their employees;
  • Promote a system of continual improvement of our Safety Management System through proactive identification and implementation of improvement opportunities;
  • Comply with all applicable rules, regulations, codes of practices and any relevant standards or guidelines applicable to its area of operation

Every employee of JET is expected to share in the commitment to health and safety in the following ways:

  • Senior officers & managers always lead by example in safety-related issues;
  • Every management supervisor or foreperson is accountable to JET Management for the health and safety of employees working under their direction;
  • Each employee is expected to help maintain a safe and healthy workplace through:

Following all safe work procedurest rules and instructions
Properly using all safety equipment and clothing provided
Reporting early any pain or discomfort
Taking an active role in the company’s treatment and rehabilitation plan, for their ‘early and durable return to work’
Reporting all incidents, injuries and hazards to the appropriate person

Environmental Policy

Jetoniz International (JET) recognises the growing international commitment to environmental management and sustainability principles. JET acknowledges the potential environmental impact that its operations may have on the environment. JET operate offshore support vessel to oil and gas companies in West Africa.

Top Management in co-ordination with the Environment Management Representative are accountable for the effectiveness of the Environmental Management System (EMS) and are responsible for ensuring that it is communicated, understood, implemented and maintained at all levels within the company and ultimately achieves its intended outcome (goal of zero environmental incidents.

Top Management is committed to ensuring that the Company will:

  • Integrate its environmental policies and procedures fully into all business activities as a critical element;
    Comply with all environmental legislation, codes, standards and contract requirements that are applicable to the company’s operation;
  • Continually improve its environmental management system to enhance environmental performance and prevention of environmental impact and taking into account current best practices, technological advances, current scientific understanding, customer and community needs, educate, train and promote employees to work in an environmentally responsible manner;
    Be committed to the protection of the environment including prevention of pollution and other specific commitments relevant to the context of the organization;
  • Complete environmental assessments for aspects and impacts of all new activities that the company may undertake and to minimize waste to landfill by reducing our waste generation and by segregating and recycling waste where economically and operational feasible;
  • Promote and encourage the adoption of our environmental principles by suppliers and contractors acting on behalf of the organization;
  • Develop, implement and maintain emergency preparedness plans; and
  • Foster openness and dialogue with both employees and the publics encouraging them to respond with their concerns or improvement ideas within the scope of the organization’s operations and maintain a set of environmental objectives and targets that are monitored through the management review process to ensure effectiveness of the Environmental Management System (EMS) of the Company.

Any changes for improvement opportunities shall be risk assessed as per the Management of Change process of our Safety Management System. This Policy shall be communicated within the organization and be made available to interested parties upon request.
